Jim M. Labbe (he/him) got his start in municipal government serving on the Multnomah Youth Commission in 1985. Since then, his work has broadly focused on community-based organizing and advocacy around natural resource conservation. He has worked in community organizing and advocacy in East Multnomah County since 2002 while serving as Urban Conservationist at the Bird Alliance (then Portland Audubon). He currently serves as Executive Director of Participatory Budgeting Oregon.
Huy Ong is a Senior Program Officer at Meyer Memorial Trust, where he supports climate and environmental justice and movement building across Oregon. A longtime community organizer, trainer, and facilitator, he previously served as Executive Director of OPAL Environmental Justice Oregon.
